The HSCC currently employs one Humane Society Police Officer. Humane Officer Whited strictly deals with animal cruelty and/or neglect in Cambria county. Officer Whited can investigate all animal cruelty/neglect including companion animals, livestock, and wildlife.

Title 18 are the only laws in which Humane Officer Whited can enforce. Humane policing investigations take time and diligence just like other police investigations. Humane policing and animal control are not the same within Cambria County. Anonymous tips are not accepted and cannot be pursued.
